CORE Values

At MIS we believe in following the CORE Values that underpin the educational fundamental principles that all MIS Early Years, Primary and Secondary Students learn in the classroom, teaching them the beliefs that guide them as individuals, as well as the school community. These values serve as a foundation for decision-making, behavior and the overall culture of the school.

  1. Integrity: Upholding honesty, ethics and moral principles. Acting with integrity means being truthful, trustworthy and consistent in one’s actions and decisions.
  2. Respect: Treating others with dignity, empathy, and fairness. Respecting diversity, opinions, and differences of others, regardless of background, culture, or beliefs.
  3. Collaboration: Promoting teamwork and cooperation. Valuing the input and contributions of others and working together towards common goals, fostering a sense of unity and collective achievement.
  4. Excellence: Striving for the highest standards of quality, performance and continuous improvement. Pursuing personal and professional growth and aiming to exceed expectations.
  5. Accountability: Taking responsibility for one’s actions and decisions. Being answerable for outcomes and honoring commitments, both individually and as a community.
  6. Innovation: Encouraging creativity, adaptability and forward-thinking. Embracing new ideas, exploring alternative approaches and seeking innovative solutions to challenges.
  7. Social Responsibility: Demonstrating a commitment to the well-being of the school society and the environment. Acting ethically, promoting sustainability, and contributing to the betterment of the school community.
  8. Empowerment: Fostering an environment that supports and encourages individuals to reach their full potential. Providing opportunities for growth, autonomy, and personal development.
  9. Openness: Embracing transparency, honesty and open communication. Creating a culture where ideas, feedback and concerns can be freely expressed and heard.
  10. Resilience: Demonstrating the ability to bounce back from setbacks, adapt to change, and persevere in the face of challenges. Building resilience helps individuals and communities to navigate difficulties and maintain a positive mindset.

Compassion, Originality, Resilience and Excellence…

These are the founding principles that we all believe will give MIS  Early Years, Primary and Secondary Students the qualities necessary to succeed in their further education when leaving MIS at University and beyond, as well as in the workplace.
